With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, Rev. Fr. Gheorghe Opris, on October 24, 2022, in Romania. 
His funeral was celebrated by His Grace, Bishop Virgil Bercea, in Oradea, Romania. 
Father Opris served in our Eparchy for many years. He was retired from St. Mary Parish in Dearborn. 
May his memory be eternal!
