From the Office of the Bishop:

The following changes in the assignment of eparchial clergy are announced:
 

• Deacon Remus A. Orian will be ordained to the Holy Priesthood on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at St. George Cathedral, Canton, Ohio, and simultaneously relieved of duties as Cathedral Deacon.
• Rev. Fr. Charles W. Works, currently Administrator of Most Holy Trinity Parish in Chesterland, Ohio, is relieved of those responsibilities and appointed Pastor of St. Mary Parish, McKeesport, Pennsylvania, effective October 15, 2021. Installation date to be determined.
• Rev. Fr. George T. Wendt, currently Administrator of St. Mary Parish in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, is relieved of those responsibilities and appointed Pastor of Most Holy Trinity Parish, Chesterland, Ohio, effective October 15, 2021. Installation date to be determined.
• Rev. Fr. Ronald H. Hilt, currently Administrator of St. Michael Parish in Aurora, Illinois, is relieved of those responsibilities and given a temporary leave-of-absence with permission to begin discernment of a monastic vocation at Holy Resurrection Monastery, Saint Nazianz, Wisconsin, effective October 15, 2021.
• Following his priestly ordination, then-Rev. Fr. Remus A. Orian will be assigned Administrator of St. Michael Parish, Aurora, Illinois, effective October 15, 2021. Installation will take place October 24, 2021.
• Subdeacon Viorel Badiceanu will be ordained Deacon on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at St. George Cathedral, Canton, Ohio. Assignments to follow.

This announcement is to be published at 4:00 P.M. on August 27, 2021. Decrees of Appointment will be promulgated.
